Preschool Department Classes:

Extended Session is offered for all children two and under
during the worship service, with threes through first grade
attending Rocky, Jr. Worship.
Children's Department Classes:
1st grade boys & girls, 2nd grade boys &
girls
3rd & 4th grade girls, 3rd & 4th grade boys
5th grade girls and boys, 6th grade girls and boys
Currently the Preschool through 4th grades are using

material and the 5th & 6th grades are using
Precept for Kids
Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at Rocky Bayou Baptist
Church. It is our desire to partner with parents and caregivers
to establish a firm foundation on which children may base a
lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and live to love Him and
serve Him.
Recognizing that a large majority of Christian children do not
have nourishing and balanced spiritual diets, it is our desire
to assist homes by providing instruction and material to build a
firm foundation in God’s Word.
We at Rocky Bayou Baptist Church desire to see children becoming
solid disciples of Jesus Christ.
We deem spiritual development of children as both a
responsibility and a privilege. Having adopted the
DiscipleLand motto as our own, we desire to see children:
Know God Intimately, Love God Passionately and Serve God

Preschool
Choirs
Preschool Choir includes "Praise
Babies" for infants through 5 year olds. Children's Choirs
for 1st & 2nd graders and 3rd through 6th graders
Meeting Time: Sunday at 4:15 p.m.
This ministry seeks to facilitate the creative expression in praising our Almighty God
with music.
Preschool
Ministry Events
Several time a year, KIDS HAVING FUN is
sponsored by either the Youth or Singles department. This is a
time for the children to gather with their peers for an
afternoon or evening of organized fun while parents run errands
or just hang out together.
Nursery Care
Loving nursery care is provided for infants
through 2 years of age during all regularly scheduled worship
services. For special events, bible studies, and other added
services the nursery will be provided according to the need of
the event. Our nursery is staffed solely by volunteers for
Sunday morning worship services. We use paid childcare
providers for special events and bible studies. Background
screening of both volunteer and paid staff is a part of our
enlistment procedures.

ensure the best learning environment for all children, we have
carefully and thoughtfully placed children in age appropriate
classrooms according to their birth month.

security system is in place to ensure that parents are the only
individuals who can call for children.

Call
numbers and pagers are utilized to call for parents should a
need arise during a service.

A
Coordinator is always present to assist the parent as well as
the caregivers. Should you have questions please address them.
